The chairperson of the Central election commission of Belarus Lidziya Yarmoshyna does not exclude that external factor would influence the presidential campaign in the country.

"I think that the main difficulties would be not inside the country, but from outside," stated Lidziya Yarmoshyna, on the request of "Interfax" commenting onthe statements of Alyaksandr Lukashenka that the future presidential campaign would be "extremely hard".

«Думаю, глава государства имел в виду некое международное давление, о котором он лучше информирован, чем я», - сказала Ермошина.

"I think that the leader of the state meant some international pressure, about which he had been informed better than I am," Yarmoshyna said.

As it has been informed earlier, when talking to residents of Petrykau district of Homel region during his working visit Alyaksandr Lukashenka stated that the upcoming presidential campaign is to be very hard.

"We should relax in no case. We have the main campaign ahead of us, a very hard one. A very hard one. And if the incumbent president has to participate in the campaign, it will be even harder. As you see, some people don’t like the incumbent president. There are such people both in the West and the East. Naturally they are itching to have their finger in the pie," Lukashenka said. " I am not worried about it, I just want to tell you that we cannot relax,” stressed the Belarusian ruler.

Besides, Lukashenka added that " you should not relax to avoid the way things went in other republics, for instance, the recent events in Kyrgyzstan. “We don’t need that," he stressed.
