Medvedev gives instruction to Gazprom as well, still a secret which ones

Russian president has responded to Lukashenka’s statements about shutdown of Russian gas transit.
Russian president Dmitry Medvedev has given all necessary instructions to Gazprom head in connection to the decision of Alyaksandr Lukashenka to shutdown the transit of Russian gas through the territory of the country, said the spokesperson of the Russian president, Natalia Timakova, RIA Novosti informs.
The Belarusian side has not repaid the indebtedness for gas, and since 10 a.m. Moscow time Gazprom started cutting off gas supplies to Belarus. On Tuesday the Council of Ministers of Belarus stated that the country would siphon off Russian transit gas in case the limitation of deliveries continue, and Alyaksandr Lukashenka said at the meeting with visiting Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov that he had instructed to shutdown gas transit until Gazprom repays it.
Answering the question about the reaction of the Russian authorities to the decision of the Belarusian leader to shutdown transit, the spokesperson of the leader of the Russian president said that “the Russian president has given all the necessary instructions, including the ones to the leadership of Gazprom”.
Timakova added that on Tuesday a phone conversation of Medvedev with Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller took place.
