The Belarusian dictator charges the Kremlin with organizing a blast near the Russian embassy in Minsk.
Alyaksandr Lukashenka stated that the law-enforcing agencies are carefully studying the version of possible involvement of the Russian side in the incident in the compound of the Russian Embassy in Minsk.
“It is most likely they needed that incident to demonstrate: look what kind of government they have, Lukashenka very nearly orchestrated that terrorist attack, as they call it, and set the car of the Russian Embassy on fire. They are trash and rascals,” Lukashenka said on Wednesday, answering a question of Interfax-Zapad agency.
“The first attack, the second attack, the third attack in the media, an unprecedented pressure in the economy. And they failed. They wanted to subdue the president, and the result was quite the opposite. They should look for different methods,” Lukashenka said. That is why, as said by him, “it is an interesting version, and we will work it through”.
As said by him, “as for the quick accusatory reaction from the side of Russia, I am starting to think who stood to gain from it”. “Did we need that with this series of propaganda films? No, it really was not what we needed. And moreover, it is injurious to the Belarusian president. That is why to blame us for knowing that and not preventing that… They are riffraff and idiots,” Lukashenka said. “This accusatory tone of the Kremlin mouthpieces shows that the law-enforcing agencies must take a close look at this incident attentively,” the ruler noted, commenting on the statements of Russian politicians that the Belarusian authorities knew about the preparation of the assault, but didn’t prevent it.
Lukashenka has also stated that in the run-up to the presidential campaign the informational pressure on his family has grown, in particular responding to the information that a special school is allegedly being built for his son Nikolay.
“A lot has been said: a fascist, a thief, he steals up to $7 billion every year, but they disagree about the sum. Maybe even an official from the Kremlin cannot steal $7 billion a year,” Lukashenka said.
As said by him, “if a person has stolen anything, and you know that, tell me where the money is. Once Bush was looking for my money at the top international level. My accounts were arrested. I said: guys, if you find it, take it. But nobody has found anything yet,” said Lukashenka. He added: “Hunt out evidence and lay it on the table”. “They are thieves, who want to make me and those near me to be like them, at least in mass media,” noted the Belarusian leader.
