After KGB demand, “Nasha Niva” removed from website video footage of scene after terrorist attack

On April 12 four KGB officers came to the editorial office of “Nasha Niva” newspaper accompanied by two policemen and attesting witnesses.
There were 9 employees in the editorial office at that moment. Representatives of the special services stated that the KGB “has claims” to the materials posted at “NN” website, and they came in the framework of the criminal case initiated in connection to the events in the metro to seize photo and video footage the newspaper has.
Besides, the video made near Kastrychnitskaya metro station by “Nasha Niva” cameramen the day before was removed from the website upon the demand of the officers.
The computers of the editorial office have not been seized. Andrei Skurko, the editor-in-chief of “Nasha Niva”, has signed an agreement not to disclose the essence of the conversation.
