By end of week dollar can reach Br 10,000 landmark

After a temporary respite on Wednesday afternoon, on Thursday the over-the-counter foreign currency market made up for lost time, and the dollar reached 9000 per US dollar.

According to quotations, not all participants of the market were ready for such an advance, and banks quote dollars in the range of 7,500 – 8,800 rubles per dollar. Exporters are ready to sell currency at 9,000. Despite the explainable sluggishness of the market, deals with an exchange rate of Br 8,800 per dollar have been recorded, AFN writes.

In the black cash foreign exchange market some stability is preserved so far. Speculators in foreign currency buy dollars at 6,500 – 6,700 and sell at 7,000 Belarusian rubles.
