Hundreds of people were detained during a peaceful action “Revolution through social networks”.

In accordance with article 27 of the Law on Law-Enforcement Bodies of the Republic of Belarus, “an officer of the law-enforcement bodies can use physical force, including combat techniques and expedient means, to stop crimes or administrative offences, detain persons who committed them, defend himself, stop disobedience to his lawful demands if he cannot do it by non-violent means.”
