Andrei Sannikov: I accept negotiations with Lukashenka – on the handover of power

Belarusian presidential candidate Andrei Sannikov phoned today from the penal colony in Navapolatsk. The political prisoner has the right for a 10-minute phone call to his family once a month.

Andrei Sannikov commented on the latest initiative of the Belarusian dictator, politician's wife Iryna Khalip told charter97.org.

“I accept negotiations with Lukashenka – on the handover of power. There are no themes to discuss with him except for conditions of capitulation. "In any event it is going to happen by the end of the year, but Lukashenka still has the choice of how to resign. If he does not use this opportunity, he will have no choice,” the presidential candidate said.

Andrei Sannikov is sentenced to five years in a medium security penal colony for organizing protests against the rigged presidential elections.
