Dzmitry Kremianetski sentenced to five days in prison

(updated) Trials were held in Miory over the detained Young Front members.

Raman Vasilieu was taken to the court first. The chairwoman of the Miory district court Natalia Grygoriyeva held the trial. She denied the motion to call the lawyer, whom they already had an agreement with. The road police officials, who allegedly heard the Young Front activists  swearing while being detained, arrived in court as witnesses.

During the court proceedings Raman Vasilieu felt sick and the trial had to be suspended to call the ambulance. The doctors took him the district hospital, Radio Svaboda reports. Raman Vasilieu was diagnosed with hypertensic crisis and left in the local hospital. The court proceedings were postponed till the time he recovers. At the hospital Raman is kept with convoy guarding him.

We would remind that Raman Vasilieu and Dzmitry Kremianetski were detained on 27 October allegedly for disorderly conduct in order not to let them join the action Dziady, which took place yesterday in Minsk.
