Viktar Ivashkevich: We must twist arms of Belarusian regime

The policy of boycotting the dictatorial regime should be used as wide as possible.
Prominent Belarusian opposition politician and co-head of Belarusian Movement Party Viktar Ivashkevich comments on the latest diplomatic scandal between Belarus and the European Union and the reaction of certain Belarusian politicians.
“It's an ordinary thing when Lukashenka calls himself and his henchmen Belarus. He is always repeating: 'I am the state'. But when politicians and journalists calling themselves democratic cannot distinguish interests of the regime from interests of the country and say sanctions against the regime are sanctions against Belarus, it sounds strange.
Now, the main threat to a particular citizen, the whole Belarusian society and the whole country is the Lukashenka regime. It is leading our country to isolation from the civilized world. It dooms Belarus to economic and technological backwardness. It is creating conditions when hundreds of thousands of the most qualified specialists leave the country and Chinese colonists arrive in Belarus. It's already begun to sell Belarusian enterprises to Russian oligarchs. It is destroying the Belarusian culture.
Lukashenka thinks only he has balls. The rest are whimps who shout and boil over, but will then ask to be friends again. We need not to make peace with him. We must twist his arms and make him resign.
The policy of boycotting the dictatorial regime should be used as wide as possible, in all directions in the country and abroad. The larger the scale of the boycott, the sooner the regime collapses, the sooner the Belarusian society will begin to develop in free conditions, because only free development of the society can really guarantee independence of Belarus.
