Polish PM: Long live Belarus! (Video)

The Prime Minister of Poland, Donald Tusk, has addressed to the people of Belarus in Belarusian.

“As long as the fate of political prisoners is at stake, Poland will always stand for imposing sanctions,” Polish PM Donald Tusk said at a press conference in Warsaw. He added the reaction of official Minsk to extending the EU blacklist showed the EU sanctions “hit a raw nerve of the regime”, Radio Svaboda reports.

Donald Tusk addressed to the people of Belarus in Belarusian:

“I'd like to tell a few words to the people of Belarus. Be strong. Stand firm! Long live Belarus!”

Tusk added Poland would continue to cooperate with the Belarusian opposition.
