Paval Sevyarynets: Belarus turned into mud ditch for former dictators

Paval Sevyarynets, a political prisoner, believes tat Belarus is turning into still waters in which imps – former dictators – live.

“With the today’s regime Belarus is turning into a mud ditch for former dictators. Lukashenka defends Chavez, Ahmadinejad, Castro, Asad, and as a result it happens that in the centre of Europe this pond with still waters where devils live, is created. For the nations of Syria, Kyrgyzstan, Venezuela, Iran and Cuba Belarus is a sinister black hole on the map. It is bad. It is a rhetoric question why it is happening so,” Sevyarynets said to the press-service of the Belarusian Christian Democratic party.

“This backwater for former tyrants is not appropriate to the image of a shiny, high-minded and spiritual country under the flag of Christ,” Paval Sevyarynets stressed.

We remind that reports that the former Kyrgyz dictator Kurmanbek Bakiyev is a citizen of Belarus for more than a year and a half, and besides he had bought a $2 million house on the outskirts of Minsk.
