List of “travel banned” extends

Zhanna Litvina, Mikhail Yanchuk and Andrei Bandarenka were not allowed to leave Belarus.

According to “Salidarnasts”, border guards told Zhanna Litvina she was on the list of persons temporarily restricted from leaving the country. The head of the Belarusian Association of Journalists (BAJ) got an “exit denied” stamp in her passport. Litvina was told it was a decision by police.

Human rights activist Andrei Bandarenka was ordered to get off the train at night as he was travelling from Minsk to Warsaw. No explanations were given to him.

Belsat journalist Mikhail Yanchuk was not allowed to leave Belarus on March 15.

A number of Belarusian public and political activists were banned from leaving Belarus in the last days.
