Beaten by police Andrei Mouchan cannot get his medical record

Andrei Mouchan, an activist of European Belarus civil campaign who was brutally beaten by police, is still at emergency hospital.

“I am to undergo another examination. I visited ophthalmologist today and my jaw was checked. But doctors do not tell me anything. I asked to show me my medical record, but they did not agree,” Mouchan told Radio Svaboda.

Mouchan says law enforcement officers did not visit him. He saw neither policemen, not officers from a prosecutor's office.

On May 19. Andrei Mouchan raised a national white-red-white flag near Pershamaiski shop in Uruchcha city district to show his solidarity with Syarhei Kavalenka. Policemen detained him beaten cruelly. According to preliminary medical examination, Andrei has a closed head injury, lower jaw fracture, injuries from blows to kidneys and legs.
