Dzmitry Kramyanetski taken into custody for 10 days

An administrative case against Dzmitry Kramyanetski, who was accused of swearing (article 17.1 of the Code of Administrative Offences), was heard in the Maskouski district court.

Judge Tatsyana Matyl sentneced the Young Front activist to ten days in custody, Viasna human rights centre reports.

Policemen Davydzyuk and Behuniu were witnesses at the trial.

Young Front member Dzmitry Kramyanetski was not released from a detention centre yesterday after serving 10-day term in custody.

On May 14, policemen raided on a flat rented by Young Front activists. Mikalai Dzyamidzenka, Dzmitry Kramyanetski and Raman Vasilyeu were forcefully taken to the Tsentralny  district police department. They were accused of disorderly conduct and tried the next day.
