Peftsiyeu trying to escape from sanctions

A Russian tycoon bought Beltechexport company.

The company is engaged in export of armaments and military equipment, has been sold to a Russian businessman Dmitry Gurinovich, who is not found to be mentioned in the mass media, Interfax reports.

“Beltechexport company confirms reports about change of owner of the controlling interest in company group, Beltech Holding CJSC, which includes Beltechexport CJSC. A businessman Dmitry Gurinovich has become an owner of the controlling block of stocks of the company group,” the company informs.

It was emphasized by the representatives of the business that “Uladzimir Peftsiyeu (Vladimir Peftiev) had stopped his participation in this group of companies.”

According to information of Beltechexport, Gurinovich is a graduate and postgraduate student of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (with distinction), was included in the personnel reserve of the president of Russia.

“Creation of a powerful vigorous cooperation of Russia and Belarus in sphere of military technical cooperation and export of special equipment which is to follow as a result of such a changeover has huge advantages and gives absolute certainty that Beltechexport is to emerge to principally new positions in the world market,” the company is convinced.

We remind that Uladzimir Peftsiyeu was placed on a travel ban list by the EU, economic sanctions were imposed on several of his companies: Beltechexportm BT Telecommunications and Sport-Pari CJSC. After that the businessman filed a suit to the European court, challenging the decision of the Council of the EU.

According to Belarusian mass media, U. Peftsiyeu is also an owner of Sen-Ko, BT Invest, Business Network; he is a minority shareholder of Priorbank, Belvnesheconombank, one of the owners of Malinovschiznenski distillery Akvadiv.

Beltechexport company was founded on January 26, 1993 and became the first specialized enterprise in Belarus which works in the international market of armaments and military equipment.

Beltechexport is engaged in deliveries, modernization and repair of the wide range of aviation equipment, armaments and military equipment of antiaircraft defence and land arms, offers a wide range of military-oriented services. A considerable share in the export is occupied by military products, produced by enterprises of military and defence complex.

According to the Republican central securities depository, the statutory fund of Beltechexport founded in 1998 is Br 450 mln ($54,000 according to the today’s exchange rate). The statutory fund was shared into 6 shares Br 75 mln each.

The agency could not find mentions of the Russian businessman Dmitry Fiodorovich Gurinovich in the mass media.
