Mikalai Statkevich thrown into punishment cell

The political prisoner is in a punishment cell of prison No. 4 in Mahilou.

On May 26, 2011, the Partyzanski district court of Misnk sentenced him to 6 years in a medium security penal colony over part 1 of article 293 of the Criminal Code (organizing mass disorders with violence against a person, violent attacks, arsons, destruction of property and armed disobedience to representatives of the authorities). A court decision of January 12, 2012, sentenced him to stricker confinement conditions for him. Statkevich was transfered from penal colony No. 17 in Shklou to prison No. 4 in Mahilou.
