KGB, Swedish teddy bears, and dear Leonid Ilyich

An anecdote was popular during the times of stagnation about how Soviet chiefs were solving one problem in different ways.
A chief rides in a train and, suddenly, the railway ends. To solve this problem Lenin gathers a demonstration and mobilizes the working class to build the railway. Stalin executes guilty and guiltless, intimidates the working class, and builds the railway. Khrushchev takes rails from behind and builds the railway forward from them. And Brezhnev suggests rocking the carriage and pretending that it’s moving forward.
You may ask “what does Belarusian KGB here”? Here’s the answer.
Anton Suryapin, a third-year student of Journalism in Belarusian State University, is held in the KGB isolator from Friday. This macabre place is purposed for detaining spies of all kind, traitors etc. Serious charges, serious articles of the Criminal Code, serious punishments.
What is the blame of 20 years-old Anton Suryapin enough for KGB to arrest him?
After an anonymous source had sent famous photographs of Swedish “Teddy-saboteurs” to him, Anton posted them on his webpage. It was enough to become a prisoner.
It appears, that not the generals Zhadobin, Raczkowski and Pokhmelkin, but a student of Belarusian State University is fault that our Air Defense, despite praises from all the institutions, turned out to be incompetent on July 4 and allowed Swedes to enter the Minsk sky! From this also follows, that if no one would write about “Swedish troppers”, then there would be no violation of the air space of the Republic of Belarus! Developing the thought, one can bravely assume that reinforcement of Belarusian Air Defense will be accompanied by massive interrogations with placing in “Americanka” all people who dared to post the video of the flight of Swedish PR-specialists on their webpages.
Have you felt how our Air Defense started to become more reinforced from one such thought? Just like that.
It’s also good that all the generals and colonels who let Swedes to enter the Belarusian sky remain on their posts. There is no need to punish anyone. Even vice versa. One can reward them. They are worthy citizens who serve the Homeland so loyally!
What a wise man was this dear Leonid Ilyich! If to rock the carriage, intimidate the passengers, then one definitely doesn’t need any rails!
So, it is the right way to go, KGB comrades!
And the last one, dear uses of the World Wide Net. Do not laugh. Especially, when it concerns such serious questions, like Air Defense. A facial expression should be corresponding! You can be guided by the blogger Higyn from “BelTA”. He is a sneaky lad, speaks thieves’ jargon, and visits Lukashenko administration quite often. He won’t suggest anything bad! Have you failed to make SUCH a facial expression and pose? Then train! Otherwise you also can be visited by KGB officers with witnesses.
Do you understand?
P.S. And I still feel sorry for Anton. God grant that he will be released on Monday.
