Dmitry Dashkevich was congratulated In Kiev and Warsaw on his birthday

A solidarity action with the political prisoner and the leader of “Young front” was held on July 20 near the Belarusian embassy in Kyiv.

That day he turned 31, his birthday he, once again, met in prison, reminds the Belarusian center in Ukraine.

Belarusian and Ukrainian activists took part in the demonstration. Particular outrage of the audience caused the news about the initiation of a new criminal case against Dmitry Dashkevich, already in Glubokskiy prison. In addition to speeches of the activists also sounded Belarusian songs performed by the bard Andrew Kasmovich.

Protesters, who were holding portraits with the words: "Freedom to Dashkevich", demanded from the Belarusian authorities to immediately release the leader of "Young Front".

The entire roadway near the embassy was filled with cars. Besides Ukranian policemen, a group of people in plain clothes watched the action. At the embassy one could hear slogans like "Freedom to Dashkevich", "Long live Belarus", "We believe, we can, we will win", "Freedom for political prisoners". At the end of the demonstration all participants of the picketing performed the "Mighty God" anthem together in honor of Dmitry Dashkevich.

In Warsaw at the call of the "Union for Democracy in Belarus" Belarusians of the  Polish capital together wrote a letter of congratulations to the leader of "Young Front".
