The political prisoner wrote a single line: "Please release me".

Father of the political prisoner Sergei Kavalenka and his brother Vitali met with him in the prison. They saw him for one day, reports "Radio Liberty".

According to Aliaxandar Kavalenka, his son received the status of a malicious violator or the regime because he didn’t go to bed in time and refused to clean the toilet. This work is considered as offensive among prisoners, so he refused to perform it.

About the petition for clemency Aliaxandar Kavalenka said that his son wrote just one line: "Please release me".

According to Aliaxandar, the son did not admit his guilt. The Administration proposed to write a petition for clemency about a month ago. The political prisoner doesn’t hope for a fast release, because it needs a petition from the prison administration. "And Sergei does not expect it, because he has been made a malicious violator", - noted Aliaxandar Kavalenka.

Medications, which were brought for Sergei Kavalenka by his family, were not accepted in the colony. The family has been told to send them by post. According to relatives, the head of the medical part of the colony spoke in favor of this.

A meeting of the political prisoner with his wife and Elena son Valentin continues in the colony. It will end on July 27. Youngest daughter of Sergei Kavalenka Victoria was taken away from the meeting by the father and the brother. According to them, it is difficult for her to be with her father in prison. The little girl was capricious, while the family spoke with reporters.
