Manifestation participants hunting in Minsk

Already during the meeting in the Peoples’ Friendship park policemen received an order to detain the participants of the procession, who carried the portraits of political prisoners. One of the co-chairmen of the organization committee for the creation of the party Belarusian Christian Democracy Vital Rymasheuski reported about that to the charter97.org web-site.
A policeman tried to detain of the participants with a white-red-white flag at the exit from the part, but people managed to fight her back, Belarus News Photo reports. A human rights activist Tatsiana Raviaka posted on her Facebook account the information about the detention of four participants of the action near the McDonald’s in Bangalore square. Several policemen jumped into a trolleybus of the rout 37, which some participants of the action took.
The leader of the Young Democrats Dzmitry Kavalhin and a UCP activist Stanislau Ramanovich, who participated in the manifestation, were detained by police at the intersection of Vera Kharuzhaja and Maksim Bahdanovich streets, ucpb.org reports. Both activists were searched after the detention. The big white-red-white flag, which was carried at the head of the column today, and two smaller flags were confiscated from them. Then they were released.

The European Belarus civic campaign’s activists Aleh Rahouski and Aliaksandar Kavalou were detained in Bangalore square area.
The detained are being taken to the police department of Minsk’s Soviet district. At least eight participants of the actions are there now. There are three Ukraine citizens among them. Protocols of an administrative violation are being composed against all of them. They are being accused of insubordination to policemen. According to unconfirmed information, all the detained will remain behind bars until the trial.
