White-red-white flag stolen from UCP

A national flag had been waiving on the 16th floor of the building at 22 Kharuzhaya Street, where the UCP's headquarters are situated, since March 23.

Party members noticed on March 26 that the flag had disappeared, the press service of the United Civil party reports.

“It's possible that someone got access to the flag from the floor above our office,” UCP deputy head Antanina Kavalyova said.

UCP members don't plan to complain to the law-enforcement agencies.

“No sense,” Kavalyova says. “It was representatives of the law-enforcement agencies who took away and in fact stole  the main flag of the Freedom Day rally from Zmitser Kavalhin on March 24.”
