Portraits of political prisoners emerged in Minsk streets

Portraits of the prisoners of Lukashenka’s regime were posted in the Belarusian capital on the Day of Solidarity.

They appeared at bus stops and notice boards in central Minsk. In addition to portraits of Mikalai Statkevich, Ihar Alinevich, Mikalai Dzyadok, Artsyom Prakapenka, Yauhen Vaskovich and Yury Rubtsou, information about political prisoners and the addresses of their detention facilities is placed.

We remind that the 16th day of every month is the Day of Solidarity with Belarusian political prisoners and abducted politicians and public leaders. On this day actions are traditionally held in Belarus and in many countries of the world.
