Action of solidarity with Vaskovich took place near KGB building

Youth activists made photos with the pictures of the political prisoner near the KGB building in Minsk.

This is how representatives of Young Christian Democrats congratulated the political prisoner Jauhien Vaskovich on his birthday.

The activist of Belarusian Christian Democracy (BChD) Vaskovich turned 24 today. This is the fourth birthday that he has behind bars.

The activists also made videos supporting the political prisoner, BChD’s press-service reports.

We would remind that Jauhien Vaskovich was convicted together with Arciom Prakapienka and Paviel Syramalotau. He was sentenced to 7 years in prison for an alleged attempted arson of the doors of Babrujsk KGB office. In September last year Paviel Syramalotau was released after having written a plea for pardon addressed to Lukashenka. Jauhien Vaskovich and Arciom Prakapienka refuse to write such a document.
