European Belarus campaign activist Kulakou gets 10 days in custody

The opposition activist was thrown behind bars ahead of the Ice Hockey World Championship.

Charter97.org has learnt it from Yulia Stsiapanava, an activist of the civil campaign European Belarus.

Leanid Kulakou was charged with disorderly conduct (article 17.1 of the Code of Administrative Offences) and sentenced to 10 days in custody.

Leanid Kulakou was detained yesterday at his home by a police squad.
