The film Lobotomy with English subtitles appeared on the Internet today.
The popular film about the Russian-Ukrainian war is available on YouTube, director Yury Khashchavatski told charter97.org.
“YouTube said that access to the movie was opened on all accounts. The other matter is that you still cannot watch it on the most popular account, with more than 400,000 views. I don't know if the film will be available there. YouTube wrote in a letter that access was opened on all addresses. The video was removed automatically from the post popular account, because they didn't think any idiot can ask to protect the copyright he doesn't own,” Yury Khashchavatski says.
The director says his answer to pro-Kremlin politologist Sergey Kurginyan, on whose request the video was removed, was that he uploaded the film Lobotomy with English subtitles. It became available on YouTube today.
“We uploaded the film with English subtitles to respond to Kurginyan's demarche. It will be available in a few minutes. After your website published a link to the film yesterday, about 6,000 people watched it. It is very good. People should know the reasons for the current events in Ukraine. I talk to many people. Sometimes both lumpen, or the so called 'vatniks', and intellectuals do not understand the situation at all. I do not say that Lobotomy will improve it completely, but it can contribute to a better understanding. I think it will be the best answer to the Kremlin propaganda if readers of this website share a link to the film,” Yury Khashvhavatski says.
