Entrepreneurs: there is a downturn of people's purchasing power

"We, the undersigned entrepreneurs and employees of Pinsk, want to remind you that February 28, 2015 is the end date of realization of goods, imported without accompanying documents up to July 1, 2014. Given that we imported seasonal goods, we still have stock in trade, which in autumn and winter cannot be sold. We also want to announce that the sale of goods does not pass simultaneously, we're having stock in trade (non-standard models, sizes), the sale of which may take years.

We also inform you that the markets of Moscow, where we used to purchase goods, do not still issue accompanying documents and certificates. We ask you to consider the possibility of import VAT payment on procurement acts, which we will draw up in the markets of Moscow and certify in the administration of shopping malls.

In addition, there is a downturn of people's purchasing power. If the issue with stocks is not solved, most businessmen of Pinsk will not be able to work legally, and therefore will not be able to pay taxes for March, which will further exacerbate the situation for all parties involved.

Based on the above, we kindly request: to organize and hold a meeting with owners of shopping malls and markets of Pinsk, in order to obtain complete and unbiased information and exchange views, and initiate at the Ministry of economy the issue on stock realization until their actual realization", the statement says.

Anatol Shumchanka believes that the authorities will listen to businessmen, because it is especially important to talk to people and hear them in today's economic situation.

ROO "Perspectiva" expects a positive reaction on the part of Pinsk authorities. One needs to talk to people today. And local authorities should be those the most interested in it. And besides it is just they who should knock on the doors of high officials and talk about the real situation. We need to do everything so that the authorities were working for businessmen; after all, it's their duty. We urge all regions to join this initiative. No one but us will resolve our problems", he said.
