All Neighbors’ Capitals Except Moscow Will Be At Gunpoint Of New Belarusian Missiles

An independent military expert Aliaksandr Alesin commented on the dictator's desire to master production of more powerful missiles.

On November 3 Lukashenka was demonstrated a multiple rocket launcher «Polonez» (Polonaise), which had been designed and manufactured in Belarus, and which will enter service with the Belarusian army in a year. The dictator ordered not to stop at «Polonez», and to develop and to master production of more powerful missiles, "Nasha Niva" reminds.

- The matter concerns that you need to get the missile system of a greater range. A military presented at the meeting spoke about a system of 300 kilometers’ range. We can assume that Chinese companies will be technological donors of this project. We see that has been established licensed production of missiles and burning solid rocket motors for missiles of a multiple rocket launcher «Polonez» (Polonaise) in the Dziarzhynsk factory.

Therefore, we can assume that Chinese missiles with a range of 200-220 kilometers made by "Narynko" company will become the prototype. But this company has products and missiles with a range of 280 kilometers. Therefore, we can assume that the domestic production of long range missiles will be the next step. But there are other manufacturers of such missiles in China, there are other sources of such technologies, - the expert said.

- Thus, the matter concerns the tactical "ground-to-ground" missiles, which are new for Belarus?

- Yes. But it is necessary to add that a really new type of missiles has appeared. It combines the qualities of long-range multiple-launched rocket systems and short-range missiles. A large number of rockets per shot - 8 or more - are taken from multiple launch rocket systems. Controlled flight and greater accuracy are taken from tactical missiles. In fact, this is high-accuracy weapon. These missiles are controlled by an inertial guidance system with GPS and "GLONASS" satellite navigation system. The rocket hits the circle with a diameter of 60 meters. Taking into account the large capacity of the ammunition, it is actually a target hit.

- What are the restrictions for Belarus in missiles’ production and possession?

- According to international agreements, Belarus has the right to produce missiles with a range of up to 500 kilometers, and it may sell missiles with a range of up to 300 kilometers. It will not be a violation.

- And why does Belarus need such missiles, what do you think?

- As Lukashenka has said, he wants a potential enemy to be far from an idea to attack Belarus. I must admit that if there are a lot of such systems, and their range is at least 300 kilometers, then it turns out that a considerable territory of neighboring countries, and the whole territory of the Baltic States, are subject to a shot. If, God forbid, there will be a conflict with NATO.

- As the result, does Belarus become such a potential aggressor, who will be feared by the neighbors?

- Why an aggressor? Not everyone who is well-armed can be called an aggressor. It has been stated that these missiles will be used only for protection purposes. Potentially, yes, you can get all the capitals of the neighboring countries, except for Moscow. But the main thing is, the infrastructure of these countries within a range of 300 kilometers is in the damage zone. In case there is buildup of the enemy troops on the border to attack us, we can destroy them on their own territory, at their starting positions.
