A market trader from Hrodna, who caused a conflict between sellers and tax inspectors at the Southern market on February 3, had his goods seized.
The future of the seized and the amount of fine will be decided by a court, Blog Hrodna writes.
“Tax inspectors found jackets without documents during a check of a seller at the Southern market,” 015.by learnt from Andrei Hrabouski, the chief tax inspector from the analysis and planning department of the Hrodna region's tax office. “Goods worth 16.5 million rubles were seized. Later, the seller's house was searched on the prosecutor's order. 868 items of clothing without documents were found in the garage.”
The clothes without documents worth 319 million rubles were seized. The future of the seized and the amount of fine will be decided by a court.
A conflict between sellers and tax inspectors at the Southern market took place on the morning of February 3. More than 300 market traders and customers got angry after tax inspectors decided to check goods in one of the stalls. The police were called to defend the tax officers.
