Images of political prisoners next to the National Opera and Ballet of Belarus

Portraits of Belarusian political prisoners appeared on the Day of Solidarity in the center of Minsk.

On April 16 Minsk held the action "Art gallery of solidarity". Painted portraits of political prisoners were exhibited at the main entrance of the National Opera and Ballet of Belarus. Slogans "Freedom to political prisoners", "No political repressions" and "Stop terror" are placed under posters.

Portraits Yury Rubtsou, Mikalai Statkevich, Jauhen Vaskovich, Ihar Alinevich, Artsem Prakapenka and Mikalai Dziadok reminded of prisoners of Lukashenka's regime.

The 16th day of every month is a Solidarity Day with Belarusian political prisoners and families of kidnapped public figures. On this day rallies are usually held in Belarus and many other countries.
