Seven policemen in plain-clothes who introduced themselves as drug officers visited the public and political center in Homel.
Law enforcement officers were interested in the location of Leanid Sudalenka, the leader of the Legal Initiative, Radio Racyja reports.
The human rights activist was not at place, he is currently out of Belarus.
Leanid Sudalenka believes the visit of law enforcement officers may be related to threats toward his children. A month ago the unknown internet detractors threw threats against human rights activist's children. He compiled a statement to find an author of one of Homel websites specializing in persecution of opposition. However, the police instead began to search for the head of the Organization Legal Initiative.
