Merkel asks Lukashenka about political prisoners' release

It happened at the meeting of Normandy Four in Minsk. But it is discovered only now.

Anatol Liabedzka, the head of the United Civil Party says that the German chancellor asked the Belarusian dictator about political prisoners at the meeting in February. The politician wrote about it on his Facebook page.

They are constantly under pressure, prison conditions are deteriorating. Mikalai Dziadok's term has been extended for a year; Mikalai Statkevich is transferred to prison.
