The Outraged Belarusians March 2.0 is to take place on Kastrychnitskaya Square in Minsk at 14:00, October 21.
The Outraged Belarusians March 2.0 will take place on Saturday.
One of the organizers, Mikola Statkevich, informed the Minsk city executive committee about the March. The action will be held in the center of the capital. The Belarusian National Congress announced the gathering on Kastrychnitskaya Square at 14 o'clock.
One of the leaders of the Belarusian National Congress, Uladzimir Niakliaeu, explained in an interview with Belsat why it was necessary to come to the action on October 21.
"Decree No. 3, against which not only the democratic opposition but the Belarusians in general protested for more than a year, is in fact not abolished. Lukashenka first agreed that the Decree was wrong and that they should return the paid money to people. And some even got their money back. I was at a meeting and heard people saying: "Why to take part in protests if they have returned our money?" But the Decree was not abolished, it was amended. But the amendments have made the Decree even more severe for the common people. So if you have a will to defend your rights, then go and defend them, – Uladzimir Niakliaeu noted.
