Poland Is Ready To Deliver Original Furniture For Belarusian "Round Table"

Press Secretary of the President of Poland Andrzej Duda supported the idea of holding a dialogue between the government and the opposition in Belarus.

Official Warsaw is ready to assist Lukashenka's meeting with the opposition, if such a meeting is going to happen.

Spokesman for the Polish president Andrzej Duda, Marek Magerovski said that to the newspaper Rzeczpospolita.

"By all means, Poland depends on democratization of Belarus. We welcome every initiative aimed at enhancing the dialogue between the authorities and the opposition in Minsk. If the idea of the Belarusian "round table" is substantiated, we will think about borrowing the furniture from the presidential palace," – he said.

Earlier, the Charter97.org website Natallia Radzina and chief editor of Narodnaya Volia Iosif Siaredzich called Lukashenka to hold a dialogue on the model of the Polish "round table".

"The aim of the round table in Poland in 1989 was the holding of free and democratic elections and peaceful change of power in the country.

The Round Table in Belarus, as well as in Poland, is only possible, if our real opposition takes part in it, and it should be aimed at peaceful change of power through free elections," – Natallia Radzina said.
