"Charter 97" Award Holder Became "Nasha Niva" Editor

On March 1, Andrei Skurko resigns as "Nasha Niva" chief editor.
The periodical and the website of "Nasha Niva" will be headed by Yahor Martsinovich.
Yahor Martsinovich has been working in "NN" since 2009. He is the author of hot-button investigations, reports and interviews. The works were awarded the National Prize for the human rights defense named after Viktar Ivashkevich, presented by Charter97.org.
The journalist – the son of writer Ales Martsinovich and "Mastatstva" magazine employee Tatsiana Mushynskaya, a grandson of Corresponding Member of the Academy of Sciences of Belarus Mikhail Mushynski. He graduated from the Lyceum of BSU and the BSU Institute of Journalism.
Andrei Skurko will continue to work in "NN" as the deputy editor. Skurko led "NN" in 2006-2017 – unprecedented term of holding the position of the "NN" editor. (For comparison: Aliaksandr Vlasau headed the periodical for 8 years, Siarhei Dubavets – for 9 years.)
