Hennadz Fiadynich: People No Longer Fear

Decree №3 became the last straw of distrust towards Lukashenka.

You will laugh, but our current interlocutor is in power 5 years longer than the domestic record holder Lukashenka. However, unlike the latter, he has never craved for it. But he bears the burden, like karma, steadily, with all his might. Not for his own benefit, but for the sake of his like-minded voters from the single and largest independent trade union REP – the trade union of radio electronic industry and other branches of the economy. Although initially, the graduate of the Belarusian Polytechnic Institute, who happily started his career as an engineer in a precision engineering development laboratory in Minsk, couldn't even imagine that he would first become a deputy chairman of the party committee of the CPSU of the Planar Association. That then he would head the election headquarters of the independent People's Deputy of the USSR Alexander Dobrovolsky. And after, for the first time in the history of local trade unions, would win elections to the chairman of the trade union committee, which would be held on a competitive basis.

– It is essential for future resistance rallies that people stopped being afraid, there was no expected runaway from the armour rattling and club squelching. People themselves were going to the paddy wagons chanting "Shame" and "Long Live Belarus!". And Shunevich and others should not think that there is a statute of limitations for the riot police atrocities. As well as for the fabrication of the White Legion case. Have the problems been solved after your false films? Have people's pensions raised or have the prices in the shops become lower? Have the utility charges become lower, and salaries higher? In my opinion, this was the last drop of a long-standing distrust of power. Therefore, protests have started, and Lukashenka with his team have backed the wrong horse.
