Lawyer Denied Access To Mikalai Statkevich Again

The politician’s wife Maryna Adamovich doubts that he really is in the detention center in Akrestsin Street.

Maryna Adamovich has told this today to the charter97.org.

“They haven’t admitted a lawyer to Mikalai Statkevich since April 29, under various made-up reasons. We are forced to stand in a queue at the detention center in Akrestsin Street every day, but in vain – we haven’t established any contacts witrh Mikalai so far.

This time, they invented an absurd excuse – the detention center is allegedly undergoing a full anti-lice treatment.”

Maryna Adamovich still has doubts that the politician is in this very detention center now.

As the charter97.org reported before, Mikalai Statkevich hasn’t contacted anyone since April 28.

On April 29, a police Lieutenant-Colonel from the Leninski district police department called Maryna Adamovich and informed that Mikalai Statkevich had been at the detention center in Akrestsin Street. The politician had been detained the day before and sentenced to 5 days of administrative detention by the Leninski district court.
