The angry Belarusians will have nothing to lose soon.

Mikalai Statkevich’s ally in the Belarusian Social Democratic Party (People’s Assembly), political strategist Siarhei Martsaleu wrote this on his Facebook page, commenting upon the politician’s message that Siarhei Kuntsevich had been tortured with electric shock in the KGB prison.

“The KGB crossed the line. The red line which they had drawn in their “amerikanka” prison for us. My ally, Siarhei, was tortured with an electric shock in prison.

These gentlemen obviously forgot that violence begets violence. I saw the moods of the people, beaten on the Freedom Day. The protest could become uncontrolled, when they have nothing to lose anymore,” – Siarhei Martseleu wrote.
