The assault turned out to be a disaster for the Russians.

The Russian offensive at Krasnohorivka using 'shed tanks' turned out to be a disaster.

This is reported by the military analyst of the German edition of BILD Julian Repke.

According to the information received, the day before the column of heavy Russian armoured vehicles went to Krasnohorivka from the direction of Maryinka.

Its main purpose was to transfer reinforcements to the town where fighting is ongoing.

The column was led by a conventional tank, followed by four metal-clad 'shed tanks' on which the Russian infantry were sheltering.

They managed to cover 7 km along the railway tracks, after which the Russian column was defeated by the AFU artillery, using cluster ammunition from mortars.

The Ukrainian army's fire was so dense and intense that only one tank was able to return after the landing.

Repke emphasises that the Russian grouping in Krasnohorivka is in a difficult situation as it is almost completely deprived of supplies.

In turn, the Ukrainian military claim to have knocked the Russians out of one of the neighbourhoods. The publication's website published a map of the combat area and the moment when the convoy was hit.
