Price For New BMW Motorcycles For Minsk Traffic Police Revealed

The Minsk traffic police will spend $ 500 thousand to create a new motorcycle division. It will ensure the protection of order in the city streets, the website of the Minsk City Executive Committee reports with a reference to the head of the Minsk state traffic inspectorate Vadzim Harkun.

According to him, three city motorcycles are now at the disposal of the city traffic police. A few more motorcycles remain in the district departments of Minsk. "In the near future, the BMW motorcycles will be purhcased for the needs of the Minsk state traffic inspectorate. With the help of these vehicles, it will be easier for our officers to detain those motorcyclists who rudely and cynically ignore the security requirements in the city when operating this high-speed transport, " - Vadzim Harkun notes.

As it became known to Euroradio, the Minsk state traffic inspectorate is going to purchase 28 German motorcycles for the new division. The agreement on this was concluded on May 29, 2017, Belatra LLC will be the supplier. The total purchase amount is Bn 960,988. According tot he currency exchange rate of May 29, it is more than $ 500 K, namely $ 516,715.

The uniform for patrol motorcyclists is indicated in the tender by a separate line. For 28 raincoats, the Ministry of Internal Affairs will spend Bn 12,152 (more than $ 6,000). The Ministry will purchase them also Belatra LLC.
