Ihar Komlik’s Release Demanded In Baranavichy

Activist Ryhor Hryk called for solidarity with the leaders of independent trade unions.

Ryhor Hryk, an activist of the REP independent trade union, recorded a video message against a poster pillar in Baranavichy, pasted with newspapers of Rabochaya Salidarnasts with an appeal to release political prisoner Ihar Komlik.

In his video message, Ryhor Hryk speaks out against the persecution of the independent trade union movement in Belarus:

"Activists of the Baranavichy REP independent trade union protest against the repressions against the REP trade union and its leaders Henadz Fiadynich and Ihar Komlik, who is currently in prison. Freedom to Ihar Komlik!"

After the speech, when the camera changes the focus, and we can see at the background an issue of the REP trade union’s newspaper Rabochaya Salidarnasts, pasted on the poster pillar.
