Leaflets with information on the independent website were being distributed at the picket.

On May 20, the Belarusians of Philadelphia held a picket against the blocking of the independent website Charter-97 in Belarus.

The picket was called "Freedom to Charter97".

Activist Vadzim Vasiljeu reports on his Facebook page that leaflets with information about the site and its blocking were being distributed during the picket.

"Long live Belarus!" – the activist writes.

About 30 people took part in the event. The activists were holding posters "Freedom to Charter-97!", "Stop Luka!", "No blocking of Charter97.org!".

We remind that on January 24, Lukashenka's regime blocked the independent information resource Charter97.org. The blocking was confirmed by the First Deputy Minister of Information Ihar Lutski. The Ministry of Information is headed by Aliaksandr Karliukevich.
