The doctor was shocked by the state of health of the Ukrainian political prisoner.
The health condition of the Ukrainian Pavlo Hryb, who is being held in Russia, has sharply deteriorated: he developed Alzheimer's symptoms.
This was told by his father, Ihor Hryb, “Nastoyascheye Vremya” reports.
Pavlo’s father noted that in 2017, before his son was kidnapped, he was preparing for a surgery.
“For more than a year and a half, he has been behind bars. There, he was beaten, abused, put under constant psychological pressure, inhuman conditions. And I want to remind everyone that he is disabled since childhood. Without an urgent surgery right now, he will just die,” said Ihor Hryb.
He added that Ukrainian physician, doctor of medical sciences, professor Vasyl Prytula, who has been treating Hryb since childhood, made a medical report according to the results of tests provided by the Russian doctors.
“Pavlo now has new diseases, like the initial stage of cirrhosis of the liver. When he was at the neuropathologist yesterday, the neuropathologist said he had Alzheimer's symptoms. My wife said that the doctor was shocked by his state of health,” said the father of the political prisoner.
