Previously, Roman Spiridonov also fell into spy scandals.
This is reported by HARBATSEVICH ex ХB telegram-channel:
- Evil tongues say that military attaché of the Russian Federation Roman Spiridonov has been expelled from Belarus.
And some also hint that he was expelled in connection with activities that can't be called diplomatic. However, Spiridonov himself cannot be called a diplomat. He is a professional intelligence officer who left his work in France with a spy scandal. But in Belarus he was not allowed to spy as easy as that.
The new Russian defense attaché in Minsk hasn't been here for a couple of months.
Press Secretary of the Russian Embassy in Minsk Alexei Maskalev confirmed the departure of Spiridonov to Interfax.
"As far as I know, there's nothing unusual about it. This is our usual, regular personnel situation," - Maskalev said.
According to him, "it's probably better to contact the Ministry of Defense for details".
The Belarusian Foreign Ministry does not comment on the situation with Spiridonov's return to Russia.
