In 2020, the presidential elections will be held in Belarus. Most likely, they will be held in late June - early July. At the same time, Lukashenka may take early resignation. There may be different reasons for this, most likely due to health.

For the most part, rapprochement between Russia and the countries of the former USSR will exist only on paper. Those points of disagreement and tension that appeared in 2018-2019 between Belarus and Russia, will only escalate.

May 2020 and, to an even greater extent, the dates close to the anniversary of his first inauguration (May 7, 2000) as head of state may prove very difficult for Putin.

It will be extremely hard for President Zelensky to retain his position and maybe even stay in office. The relations between Ukraine and Russia built-up in 2014-2016 will contribute to further cooling between these countries.

Also, the US president will have to make many efforts to stay in power and continue to implement the transformations and reforms that Trump promised his voters. The year 2020 can be considered one of the worst for him during his presidency.
