Tatsiana Seviarynets Released From Prison
TATSIANA SEVIARYNETS

The physicians have insisted on the release of the activist from the pre-trial detention center.

Tatsiana Seviarynets, an activist from Vitsebsk, mother of one of the leaders of Belarusian people and political prisoner Pavel Seviarynets, was released from the pre-trial detention center at the insistence of physicians. She was taken there after her detention on October 14. Her husband Kanstantsin Seviarynets informed tut.by about it.

On Mother's Day, on October 14, Tatsiana Seviarynets was detained near the entrance of her house and taken to the Pershamaiski district police department.

- Tatsiana stayed in the police station for half a day: from afternoon till two o'clock in the morning. She was then taken to the pre-trial detention center. She felt unwell: increased blood pressure, hypertensive crisis. An ambulance came several times. The doctors insisted on letting Tatsiana go home because of her health condition. The police officers, as the wife says, did not want to do so, but were forced to obey the doctors' request. Tatsiana came home this morning," - Kanstantsin Seviarynets reported.

Tatsiana informed her husband that she was accused of participating in the march of pensioners held in Vitsebsk on October 12.
