"I Won't Buy Conte": Belarusian Women Reacted to the Possible Replacement of Khizynkova's Photo on the Packaging of Tights

The company has published photos with new models.

Top model Volha Khizhynkova, whose photo is on every Conte tights package, has been behind bars since November 8. She was supposed to be released on December 11 but was kept under arrest until December 20. As a sign of support, Belarusian women launched a flash mob "While some legs are resting, others are running at full speed."

Instead of posting a photo of Volha and making a good PR move, the company posted other models' photos. Instagram users suggested that Russian gymnast Lyaysan Utyasheva could become the new face of the company.

The Charter97.org website drew attention to the fact that social network users stood up for Volha. They threatened to stop buying Conte products if Volha ceased to be the face of the company.
