Accounts Of "Belarus" Sanatorium In Lithuania Are Arrested Because Of Sanctions

The Lithuanian sanatorium is part of Lukashenka's administration.

Lithuanian Swedbank blocked the account of the "Belarus" sanatorium (Sanatorija "Belorus", VšĮ), located in Druskininkai. This is reported by respublika.lt.

The arrest was imposed on December 18, the head doctor of the sanatorium, <>bIlya Epifanov, said. The bank explained to the sanatorium manager that the arrest was related to the EU sanctions against the representatives of Belarus.

The bank told the reporters that the client had been informed about the blocking and its consequences.

The Lithuanian sanatorium is a part of Lukashenka's administration. The Lukashenka's administration is one of the seven legal entities, mentioned in the third package of the EU sanctions. The third package of sanctions started on December 17, 2020.
