On December 2, the Minsk City Executive Committee warned that public transport fares would rise. The date was not specified. The fare has changed today. The tariffs for urban and suburban transportation of passengers by all modes of transport (except for railway) in regular traffic have changed.

A trip in public transport has risen in price by 10 kapeykas. In the suburban area - 1 kapeyka per kilometer.

Old tickets will be valid for another 30 days starting from today (until January 7 inclusive). Unused tickets can be exchanged for new ones at kiosks and ticket offices of “Minsktrans” with an additional charge.

Long-term travel passes in Minsk have risen in price by 15%. For example, unlimited pass for ground transport for 1 day will cost BYN 3.71 (it was 3.21), the City Executive Committee reports.

In general, the prices for one day are as follows:

- for one type of ground transport: bus, trolleybus or tram (except for express buses) - BYN 11.88; express bus - BYN 14.25; metro - BYN 12.67;

for two types of transport: bus - trolleybus - BYN 15.83; express bus + trolleybus or tram - BYN 17.41; metro - bus (or trolleybus, tram) - BYN 16.35;

- for three types of transport: for ground types - BYN 18.81; metro and two ground types - BYN 19.22; metro and two ground types, including an express bus - BYN 20.48.

A travel pass for 10 days for four types of transport costs BYN 21.68 (it was 18.84).

Monthly unlimited travel passes for 30 days:

- for one type of ground transport: bus, trolleybus or tram (except for express buses) - BYN 33.75; express bus - BYN 40.5 rubles; metro - BYN 36;

- for two types of transport: bus - trolleybus - BYN 45.04; express bus + trolleybus or tram (+ bus) - BYN 49.54; metro - bus (or trolleybus, tram) - BYN 46.54;

- for three types of transport: for ground types - 53.7 rubles; metro and two ground types - BYN 54.9; metro and two ground types, including an express bus - BYN 58.48;

- for four types of transport - BYN 61.76 (it was 53.66).

An unlimited land transport pass for 90 days costs BYN 136.99.

A metro token now costs 80 kapeykas.
