Belarusians Wait For Coronavirus Test Results For Over Two Weeks

For more than two weeks, a resident of Mazyr, being in the hospital, have been waiting in vain for the results of the test for COVID-19, the “Basta!” Telegram channel reported.

On May 16, the Telegram channel wrote that a whole family from Mazyr was hospitalized with a high fever after the young man returned from Minsk and felt unwell. A few days later, the father and son were sent home, and the woman remained in the hospital with fever and pneumonia.

The test results of some family members have come recently.

“The father and son have a negative result, the doctors say,” the reader writes. “The mother is still in the hospital, she has been waiting for those test results for over two weeks. A couple of days ago she was diagnosed with bilateral pneumonia. It is noteworthy that the diagnosis appeared after “as mother and father contracted infection from their son, and everyone had a high fever.
