A Lida resident has appealed to his neighbors with a request to respect the work of physicians, wear masks in public places and have less contact with each other, the "Basta" telegram channel reports.

"Please write so that people wouldn't listen to the official media and wouldn't hope against hope, - he said. - The Lida Central District Hospital is doing its best to help people, and they don't understand anything and keep going to shops without masks, contacting people, walking around the market, in public places without protection. Do you know how the medical staff at the hospital works? They work hard: 6 hours in a suit, then 6 hours of rest and again 6 hours in a suit. It's impossible to drink water in a suit, or to go to the toilet, it's very hard to breathe, there is a danger of getting infected.

Lida residents, despite that the real threat of the virus and its consequences is being concealed in the media, please be more careful. Wear masks in public places and have less contact with people.

There are over 200 confirmed cases of infection in the city! There are fatalities. There are patients on life support.
